Worm Puzzle

Last updated: 6 August 2026

The short version. Worm Puzzle has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask you for your name, email address, or any other personal detail, and we do not collect or store any personal information on our own servers. Your game progress stays on your device. The app shows optional rewarded video ads supplied by Google AdMob, and Google receives limited device information in order to serve them. That is the entire extent of data handling in this app.

1. Who we are

Worm Puzzle (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is published by AppUnik. If you have any question about this policy or about privacy in the app, contact us at info@appunik.com.

2. Information we do not collect

We want to be explicit about this, because it covers most of what people worry about. The app does not:

3. Information stored on your device

To make the game work, the app saves the following locally, in your device's own app storage:

This information never leaves your device. We cannot read it, and it is not backed up to any server we control. Deleting the app removes all of it permanently.

4. Advertising

Worm Puzzle offers optional rewarded video ads — for example, to earn an extra life or extra time. These ads are provided by Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice; the game is fully playable without ever viewing one.

When an ad is requested, Google may receive and process:

DataPurpose
Device advertising identifier Frequency capping, ad measurement, and fraud prevention
Device and app information (model, operating system version, app version, language) Delivering an ad that renders correctly on your device
IP address, and coarse country/region derived from it Serving region-appropriate ads and meeting legal requirements
Ad interaction events (an ad was shown, watched, or closed) Measuring ad delivery and paying the developer

The app requests non-personalised ads. This instructs Google to select ads based on general context rather than on a profile of your interests or browsing history.

Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies, not ours:

Controlling ad personalisation

5. Children's privacy

Worm Puzzle is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app has no accounts, no messaging, no user-generated content, and no social features, there is no mechanism by which a child could submit personal information to us.

The app requests non-personalised advertising as described in section 4. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through this app, please contact us at info@appunik.com and we will act on it promptly.

6. Permissions the app uses

PermissionWhy
Internet access Required solely to load advertisements. All gameplay works offline.
Vibration / haptics Tactile feedback when a move is blocked or a level is completed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws — including rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to its processing.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing on our side for us to retrieve, amend, or erase. All data the app stores is on your own device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, please exercise your rights directly with Google using the links in section 4, or use the device-level advertising controls described there.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

8. Data retention and security

We operate no servers and no databases for this app, so we retain nothing. Data stored on your device is protected by your device's own operating system security and is removed when you delete the app.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data — for example, by adding a new feature — we will update this page and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing release notes. Please review this page from time to time.
